Rush is such a fascinating band to me because like, legendary rock vocalists and guitarists are a dime a dozen, I could name like a dozen of each just off the top of my head, but legendary rock drummers and bassists are much rarer, I can count the ones I know on like 1 hand combined, but somehow Rush managed to create a band with a legendary generational talent bassist (and vocalist) and a legendary generational talent drummer and then like some guy on guitar, like don't get me wrong Alex Lifeson is by no means a bad guitarist but he pales in comparison to how insanely talented Geddy Lee and Neil Peart are, it's wild, backwards-ass rock band but their music is great
