The new show is here, and CMRN, Michael, and Austin have a heck of a time discussing the first six chapters of Gene Wolfe's SHADOW OF THE TORTURER.
Big thanks to Jordan Mallory for producing, Sam Beck for our art, and Cinder Well for our theme.

So excited for this! I got my books yesterday and tore through the first six chapters.
feels like winning the lottery with having already read the book. A ranged touch podcast with no homework!
Three links on the blubrry page take me to an uncategorized ranged touch feed that only shows an episode from 2019 about hobgobbolons? I'll try it on desk top in a minute
I'm so happy this came out just as I happened to be on my first read of this series. Hearing you all latch on to similar things that I did is marvelous, and I really appreciate getting more background on who Wolfe was because it makes a lot of things in this series make more sense. Hearing that he designed Severian to be cosplayed is wild, because who would ever cosplay as this little freak?
Super excited for this, love the books. Doesn't seem like the feed is working on Google Podcasts, as a heads up, but I'm going to download and listen this weekend!!
Google Podcasts is by far the worst podcasting platform. It's up now if you go look!
