it's funny to me that i've never seen any playthroughs of either 10 beautiful postcards or the killer games where someone goes "no collision detection - what the!!". with the latter ones it's just sprite props that you can walk through rather than the whole level, and maybe it's a style thing, but even in this more mainstream mode i've never come across any reactions where it's treated like a gamer sin that you just noclip through the tables and things. and people will know that and still walk around them anyway.... i guess it's not exactly news that people will still play along with this stuff in loose gestural ways even when it's not a hard-fast enforced rule but it's still funny how much you can strip out without anybody really giving a shit <- thought originally spurred by the web-emulated theresa duncan cd-roms
