No that part is just a byproduct of how I made it work on cohost. What matters is the white space. Indented lines remaining indented the same amount and not wrapping

okay so:

  1. https://www.fionnafromtheinter.net/assets/other/so-the-world-is-ending.html
  2. we couldn't use <br> like one would normally use for poetry because we wanted to make our life significantly easier by
  3. using a combination of the text-indent css class and the :nth-child pseudo class to just make the css look for every other <p> within the section with the class indent
  4. from there we used text-wrap: nowrap; and overflow-scroll to make it so, regardless of the font/font size/scale, it'll require left-right scrolling instead of wrapping those lines
  5. all the line-height stuff is to just make it look more stanza-y, and that's fiddle-with-able
  6. all the styling is at the top of the html file!

let us know if there's anything else or any other way we can help! we'll say that we made heavy use of the mozilla developer network; it's how we teach ourself a lot of this stuff

It works on your site but when I put it in a /html box in Ghost and use code injection to add your styling it still doesn't work. This is an issue I've been having with Ghost. It's very easy to use until you want to use it slightly differently from how they designed it.
