That's a bummer, I really liked her performance as Mystina in Valkyrie Profile.
It was pretty bleak laughter when my mother told us the oncologist said she was in perfect health, aside from the cancer.
Fuck cancer.
Man, what a casually devastating line for a doctor (an oncologist, no less!) to drop. 100% agree, fuck cancer.
It really effectively burnt the fact that no, cancer is just like that. Cancer doesn't care if you do everything right. There's no magic combination of behaviours that will actually prevent it.
