This paw shaped cushion I keep in my chair needs to be washed and fluffed in the dryer, and I noticed a tear in one seam that needed to be sewn shut. So I sewed that up real quick and threw it in my Guppy bag to prevent it from shedding plastics into water system. First time really needing to use this bag! A lot of stretch fabrics and athletic fabrics don't really shed microplastics but fuzzy synthetic fabrics like these tend to shed quite a lot! (Obv I am of the opinion that individuals do much less harm than corporations and the fast fashion industry at large but I do like that I can use this bag for years and limit my own plastic contributions. And on a more immediate level, keep fuzzy stuff from shedding on the rest of my clothes & etc.)
