getting a dark bag and some 620 spools so i can respool 120 film myself, i cant wait until i can take my medium formaf camera out 
i found a phone app light meter that a photographer recommended so now i just need to figure out the best way to guage distance for the manual focus. i am good with estimating distance but given the cost/labor of spooling the film, id rather not leave too much up to chance (recommendations are welcome!)
we have a medium format i still need to bust out! I am also terrible at eyeballing distance too so I wish you luck
You should be able to accurately measure distance with your phone, as well! Assuming we're talking an iPhone, I think the Measure app should be able to give you a readout for Distance Away
I'm on a cheapy android! I'm hoping my phone gives accurate light measurements lol
