i watched a video recently talking about using older digital cameras (which are for the most part very cheap to get online) because of the lower quality images and imperfections that can lend an effect to photos that feels almost film-like. I have a soft spot for aging tech (and for over the top built-in filters like this pink and black one called "Punk") so I grabbed a cheap Olympus SZ-30 MR (16MP), fun little digital camera from 2011, on Ebay just to have as another Camera Option.

If you like that one, check out the Pentax Q. It's one of the quirkier cameras from that period. Itty bitty body, teeny tiny sensor, and yet you can swap out the lenses, each of which are also tiny thanks to only needing to cover that tiny sensor.
