one of the only things i still actually miss after moving here from our stint in seattle is the Uwajimaya
while trying to find a good place to get hot pot supplies today, i found out a T&T supermarket opened here in the past year! it's HUGE, and while it doesnt have a manga store attached (i miss u Goku statue...) it certainly was the most exciting grocery trip ive had in montreal
in addition to buying tons of hotpot stuff, we also grabbed a few treats for lunar new year (lotus & salted egg yolk moon cakes shaped like crabs!!!!!) and we realized we hadn't had dinner yet so we grabbed a hot plate of duck bbq and some green onion buns :3
