my beautiful boy. he was only two. we have no idea what happened, a siezure is my only guess. he died in my arms.
we're in shock. kevin took him to the vet and handled everything for me.

That's awful. From what you posted of him, it seems like he was a good boy and very well-loved. I'm so sorry for your loss

I'm so sorry. But I guess that's just how it is, sometimes. Something similar happened with our last dog; on a Friday or Saturday night he wasn't acting right and we were thinking to take him to the vet on Monday when a paycheck cleared. He got bad enough fast enough that we decided to rush him to the Pet ER and he passed away in my arms on the way there. No idea what happened. It was devastating, and we blamed ourselves for a long time, but don't let yourselves fall into that trap. You gave Guts a lot of love and a comfortable life, even if he left us too soon.

Oh no I'm so sorry! I can't imagine the pain, but I do want to thank you for sharing the time you had with him with us. It wasn't long enough but I'm glad he was in my life as well at least a little
I'm so sorry, Priscilla...I usually have clever ways of sharing my feelings with words, but when we're here in this kind of moment there's no good way to say what feels I want to give you. We lost our little buddy a year and a half ago, and it kicks you right in the stomach. Thank you for sharing him with us, so we can remember him with you and mourn as he deserves.
OH NO! I'm so sorry, Priscilla! It always made me smile when a picture of him came across my timeline. It is so difficult to lose a beloved pet. There are some decent resources out there for helping manage grief from pet lose. What helped me a lot was writing poems and getting nice prints of our favorite photos.
