one day i'll be far enough along on this project to publicly announce it (a playable demo, at minimum) but i have to at least say: i've been working on something for the past year with a ridiculously talented and imaginative friend when we have spare time, and I've just been giddy about it lately

we're digging into it, getting excited about stories and characters, while also just being ok with the fact that sometimes there's a month or so where we might not get much done (slow burn project!! no external pressure! for the joy of art! life happens!)

there's really something so fun about getting art back after you've both dug into things, and being like "holy shit that's them! they're real!"

anyway!!! i'm playing around in godot if anyone has some resources they've found useful or think I should check out! I just started a tutorial to make a simple 2D sidescroller :)
