I just want to say that Voyageur is a really good game. I really liked exploring the ideology of each factions and each planets felt unique. Is their a part of the development you wish to talk about? Was it difficult writing description that would fit with other randomly selected sentences? Did any show, novel or anything inspired you or influenced part of the game?

That's very kind of you to say; this was several years ago so I don't really have a strong recollection of it (probably because I was working at a pretty unsustainable pace – ah, to be young again, etc).

If anything is influential on Voyageur it's Sid Meier's Pirates!, which is definitely a weird thing to name. It's not really closely related to any specific sci-fi thing, though ofc it drinks from the well of like, classic hard SF that I've read – especially Isaac Asimov and Frank Herbert.

We met Halloween of 2016 at a place in the middle of nowhere called THE LAKE OF NO RETURN (really) where we stayed with a bunch of friends drinking cheap beer (and beermosas), read a satanic bible in a dilapidated chapel, and poked around some extremely old and haunted cabins. Obviously that is the best possible way for a friendship to kick off.

this is so interesting to me. apparently what many of us have always assumed to be movements seeping out from our dreams and into our bodies is actually our body automatically twitching to relearn the connection between body and brain.
rather than brain -> body, it's actually body -> brain! this is so cool to me. when our pets are twitching in their sleep it's their body sending signals to their brains like, "alright this is what we're working with. paws? check. ears? check."
