[The Rock Tumbler Tourney starts in a few weeks and I still don't have a solid idea on what to bring.] Sapphire huffed, choosing not to wear her translator at the moment.
Sapphire was a Vaporeon that was raised in Japan and has it as her native language. While she understands English just fine speaking it... is another case entirely.
Normally she'd wear a collar Sift made for her around her neck that auto translates what she's saying- but in her own home she simply didn't feel the need leaving it placed on a small hanger resting on her dresser.
[It's a talent show, right? So should I sing a song? Performing for a crowd makes me a little uneasy but that would be good!] She smiled to herself as she cupped her hand into a fist and hit it against her palm. [O-or maybe I could dance! ...hm..] She mumbled as she paced back and forth by her bed before a light seemed to go off in her head. [I'll just ask my little friends!] She smiled as she hurried over to her bedside table and pulled open the drawer- a small star shaped bottle with various gems glued to it being the only thing inside.
[Hi my little ones! I hope everyone is having fun~!] Sapphire spoke as she retrieved the bottle and held it up to her gentle eyes- roughly about ten people dotted the decoration, none of which understood a lick of what she was saying, though honestly, not minding terribly as she did take care of them providing them with food, decorations and other niceties. The only real concern was when would they be released back to their homes, unaware that the Vaporeon saw them as pets more than anything else. [I'm going to be in a fun contest! And I need your help!]
Sapphire would bend over and place the jar on her nightstand before vanishing into her walk in closet and emerging a moment later with a handful of garish garments and costumes. [I'm planning on wearing something flashy, something that might surprise and entertain... so uhm...] She trailed off stepping out of her clothes to only wearing her undergarments. [This one isn't a choice, eheh...] she joked with her cheeks a bright red as she quickly scooped up a bright red one piece suit with a black buckle on the front, golden buttons lining it to keep it looking prim and proper. [This ones a favorite. Little known fact I got to overlook a water treatment plant once! ...L-literally only once, so maybe I didn't need to buy this suit after all... but it looks good right?] She asked holding it over her chest as if to give a preview of what it would look like- her pets certainly staring but not providing any useful feedback as far as she could glimpse.
[...To formal?] She hummed eyeing a magical girl cosplay she bought from a thrift store. [It's kind of a knockoff looking thing but I thought it was really cute at the time. I never really got to try it on though...] Sapphire explained to no one before holding it up next, a finger raised in a way she saw on tv a few times. [Makes you fall for me huh?] She giggled before the phone nearby went off startling her into dropping the outfit giving one mother of a cleavage shot to the pets she had. [Wait tryouts are... today?] She gasped before palming her forehead and putting the phone down, quickly retrieving her translator and holding it to her neck. "Wait... practice for the event is today??" She repeated, now understandable.
"Alright tell the girls on Blue I'll meet them in your backyard Sift! Thank you!" She smiled hanging up and placing the device down. [I have so many other choices... a leather clad biker, a mermaid dress... I won't have time to show you now but I will when I get back!] She promised as she quickly scooped up the cosplay before looking at the teachers outfit as well as she was torn in the moment. [I'll just take both! That'll do! The others can decide for me!] She quickly concluded before scurrying out the door [I hope they'll have a easy time choosing for me...] Sapphire admitted quite flustered as she raced down the street... not really taking notice that she had forgot to put on anything outside of her bra and panties beforehand!
The micros left behind in the jar were dumbstruck by their owner's actions, the group left standing around glancing at each other for a moment. "How many times has this happened?" One asked. "A few times now... I wonder if we could get a reminder for her." Another replied as Sapphire really could be that absent minded sometimes.
Regardless, everyone in the decorated jar knew they'd be hearing all about it when she got home- even if they couldn't really understand her.
