Did you know that Edgar Wright wrote a personal letter to Nintendo just to use a five second clip of the original Legend Of Zelda theme song at the very beginning to the movie? Also renowned modern folk artist Beck wrote all of Sex Bob-Omb's songs. Speaking of which, Knives's actress made her homemade Sex Bob-Omb shirt herself for the movie, and when it premiered at San Diego Comic-Con they even had a booth for fans to make their own Sex Bob-Omb shirts. And did you notice in the scene with all the Seinfeld sound effects, Wallace Wells flips a switch on the oven that immediately turns the laughtrack off? Also that dream sequence where Scott walks out of the bathroom into a high school hallway, that was one single shot. It was all practical effects. Michael Cera even tossed that Amazon package into the trash can behind him for real, it just took a few dozen tries. Also the song that Crash And The Boys says is "We Hate You, Please Die" isnt actually "We Hate You, Please Die." The actual song sequence was cut from the scene. They actually introduce another song called "The Last Song Kills The Audience" which is the song we hear in the movie, and that's why the whole audience is collapsed on the floor when Sex Bob-Omb comes out. During the Amp Vs. Amp battle against the Katayanagi Twins, you can see Scott stomp on an effects pedal called The Green Eye Monster, which both symbolizes the jealousy he feels at seeing Ramona with Gideon, as well as releases a literal green eyed monster into the battle. Also the name Gideon Gordon Graves has six, six, and six letters. And did you know that Lucas Lee is based on real life pro-skater-turned-actor Jason Lee? The line where Lucas Lee checks his phone and laughs and says, "that was actually hilarious" was improvised by Chris Evans. Speaking of memorable lines, did you know that "He punched the hilights out of her hair!" was the line that got Young Neil's actor the role? At the end of the movie when Scott explodes Gideon into millions of dollars in coins, you can see Young Neil pick up a coin and eat it.
