Along Ryōgoku--home of the famous Ryōgoku Kokugikan--there is a whole lot of sumo-related public art. This statue is one of my favorites.
It is of a Yokozuna (sorry did not get the name) doing the iconic ring-entering ceremony in Shinarui style. Both arms are outstretched, symbolizing an aggressive two-handed attack.
You can feel his strength and power.
