don't try send pictures from your phone to a server. somehow they managed to fuck this up and it doesn't send to the server you're in - it sends them to the last person you DMed. to say this is a huge fuckup of a bug is quite the understatement. like seriously. how do you fuck this up this bad oh my god

edit: looks like you can't send images at all now. what the fuck are you doing just rollback, fix and redeploy like a normal engineering team

I managed to reproduce this issue by:

going to a server,
tapping the + icon next to the message box to open the image browser
selecting an image, and then (since it looks like sending from the browser also broke; in particular, the >-shaped send button seems to inconsistently appear without using Remix)
tapping the pencil with stars around it to enter Remix mode,
then tapping Send!

Update: I managed to repro this at 2:28 AM Pacific time (@478 .beats), failed to repro at 4:30 AM (@563 .beats)!

can reproduce on android discord app version 206.16 - go to a DM, then go to a server. the indication that the bug is active is if you add an attachment to your message and it doesn't appear as a bubble above the message compose field. for some reason i am currently not able to successfully send any attachment, though. maybe they turned this off server-side temporarily for user safety?
