The idea that cohost might disappear is legitimately upsetting. This is the first website I've found where I don't feel like I'm fighting to make my voice heard. The website where it's been easiest to make connections with others. This is the only place, online or off, where I can publicly say what I really think and not get called insane or worse.
If I hadn't joined cohost, I would not have the material safety that I gained just a couple weeks ago.
If cohost goes down, I lose one of the few places I can be myself. Where we can be ourselves. We'll lose a place to mingle with those who are like us. We can't connect with normal humans, nothing we ever do will make them understand us.
We love our partners, but we can't talk to only them and the extended polycule. We, I especially, need casual social interaction with psudostrangers online who share our political alignment, because there's no way to get that in real life ;=;
