often i see autistic ppl going "oh but we dont actually [stereotypical trait]", as if being visibly autistic was a terrible thing. they're all for neurodivergent positivity unless ur "like that". so heres to all the autistic people who ARE like that!

shoutout to autistic people that stim a lot and less subtly
shoutout to autistic people that are semiverbal, nonverbal or experience verbal loss
shoutout to autistic people with childish special interests
shoutout to autistic people who have meltdowns when overstimulated
shoutout to autistic people who need accommodations to function
shoutout to autistic people who require assistance for basic self care
shoutout to autistic people who arent very smart
shoutout to autistic people who are too smart
shoutout to autistic people who cant or dont want to mask
shoutout to autistic people with low/no empathy
shoutout to autistic people who are picky eaters
ALL autistic people deserve love and respect, regardless of their ability to fit in a neurotypical society
