I think my real takeaway from this is that GameFly isn't dead yet, somehow
It's not what actually happens in the show, but liken it to a meme of all the other gamestores in Heaven welcoming eShop to the pearly gates. Same sort of connotation.
I realize this comment is a year old, but it should be noted nobody understood what the original ending to Evangelion meant at the time, either, and it was later retconned after the show proved highly successful.
But yeah, @Pendell hit the nail on the head in terms of what this meme means. :p
