There’s a lot of imagery in Across the Spiderverse very heavily implying that Gwen is trans, namely the trans flags on her wall and her dad’s uniform, and most symbolically, the coloration used for her changing from muted desaturated blue to vivid pinks and blues during her heart-to-heart with her father, it’s quite possibly my favorite use of color in any piece of art ever
