i couldn't help but notice that, as i was falling asleep 2 days ago, you beeped to signal that you were on low battery.
once.
since then, there's been no further incident.
should you continue, please do it during the daylight hours. otherwise i will break your kneecaps.

it laid dormant for so long... until 2 nights ago, when at 4:45 am, it beeped.
then it beeped again.
enough to be startled awake, then enough to cement the awakeness, but not long enough to pinpoint the source.
last night, it beeped once (as far as i can remember).
and tonight, about 5 minutes ago, as i was flossing my teeth, i heard it beep. i rushed to the hall to try to catch it in the act, but i quickly went back to flossing my teeth.
then it beeped again.
i rushed outside once more and glared at prime suspect #1 for approximately 2 minutes. no further beeps occurred or have occurred since then.
this thing is sentient
next morning edit: it beeped twice as i was falling asleep last night but hasn't since. curling my fist into a ball rn
