just saw a note for myself in my google keep that i made a few weeks ago when i forced myself to go to sleep instead of doing bad coding at like 12:30 in the morning, so i could remember wtf i was doing the next day. it ends with "why? make it not do this" which i think is beautiful prose that fits many situations
