haha i'm going to put this cool audio visualizer in my video, i bet that will look awesome! haha oops, forgot that resolve locks your framerate to 60 if you forget to change it before dropping in your first piece of media, no biggie! in unrelated news, i've been rendering for 15 minutes and the remaining time keeps going up
i spent over an hour rendering the whole thing and the audio visualizer is flickery. fuck my entire life
ok i changed some settings and preliminary trials look good (i rendered the same small clip several times to avoid repeating my folly)
if it somehow ends up being flickery well then... fuck

trying this last one with a spectrum instead of a waveform. if it doesn't work then i give up on the visualizer but judging by the time remaining (which is still going up btw) it will probably take like 3 hours 🙃🙃🙃🙃 for context the other runs hovered at 20-30 minutes remaining
IT MAY HAVE TAKEN 7 HOURS BUT THE VISUALIZER IS ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL!!
i'll upload the video tomorrow morning and post the full cover as a post and all that like i usually do. for all this effort the video isn't anything particularly fancy either.... too bad!
also it was going so slow at the start because my dumb ass watched youtube while it was rendering. never ever do that even if it seems like it's working
