Endless screaming into the cohost void

stir fried some nappa cabbage and then added in some eggy and am eating it on rice in hopes that my stomach agrees with this more than it has been with other things lmao but it's pretty good. having the wok is nice.

also my bestie is coming to visit, so thats exciting

Ppl complain that new site is hard to learn and understand but we all had to learn what a hashtag was ten years ago. Also a tweet. Also retweets. There was a long time on Twitter you couldn’t start a post with a d and a space without potentially accidentally DMing someone or getting an error. Pretty sure you also couldn’t post gifs or even images? (edit: yeah, nope! No images on early twitter, had to link to an external site! And I had to explain twitter as kind of like a chat room or livejournal blog but you could only post short updates lmao.) Fondly remembering trying to explain @ handles to people.

Anyway what I’m saying is people will learn new stuff like we all learned Twitter originally. It will be messy like Twitter always has been. If you think a new site or a new paradigm is gonna be too hard for the average person to learn: it probably won't be that bad!
