one part of the Trans Experience that I love from seeing it in so many friends is when folks choose their new name. It's a lot of fun to see people choose a name that fits them - something they choose themselves, not that was chosen for them. That's really powerful! And makes me wish it was something more folks felt like doing.

I was a bit worried that Blue Skies was Too Weird for people to get used to and then I remembered that the whole reason I chose it was because the people I trusted, loved, and cares about most in the whole wide world were already calling me Blue for over a decade by this point!
So I was returning to a seat I was very familiar with. 💙💙💙
it's definitely a non-standard name, but I think that's awesome! And it's so YOU, too :>
