there's a Higurashi reading order on Steam, and one of the first things it says to do is skip the After-Party scenes once each game is concluded, and

Their reasoning is that they "ruin the mood" of the endings of the story, but. If you're going to read the next chapter, it's gonna start more light-hearted and ruin the mood anyways! And the after-party scenes are just great, so I don't see the point in skipping them :v
yeah! I agree completely, the afterparty scenes are very good
