finally watching Clone Wars, starting with the movie, and I always got the feeling that Ahsoka was meant to be a little older than she is. Like a teenager, maybe. But she's very clearly the Child Character that the Child Audience is supposed to latch onto, and I guess that'll take a bit to get used to

I watched most of the clone wars except for the movie/first season, as my friend told me it was the roughest of the bunch. It gets real good. Ashoka grows a lot (literally) through the show. It's a shame some of that growth seems to have been thrown out with the love action show :/ (not that a character can't regress but damn)
I've heard good things about it as a whole, and it seems like it'll be a good time! Shame about the new show, but I might never end up seeing it, so I can't say for certain :v
