I'm watching M4's Book Edit of the Hobbit trilogy, and I'm really enjoying it! I watched each of the Hobbit movies once in theaters and never had an urge to revisit them. I didn't have the hatred for them that some folks had, but they were definitely kind of a slog to get through.
The Book Edit is meant to re-edit the films to bring them closer to the books, and while I can't remember the original movies enough to know most of what's been changed (aside from pretty much all the sequel-baiting to LoTR that was just interminably boring to me), I do know that I'm having a lot of fun with this version <3
