half life remake where the only change is that they give gordon a gameboy for that opening train ride

i think may half life just isn't a game for me. i don't know if it's the physics or the pacing or the shooting or the enemy mechanics or what but it just feels crappy. people always seem to assume the reason i bounced off of it previously is cause the game is old or difficult, but neither of those is true; quake is one of my favorite games and half life isn't very difficult (at least on medium), it's just boring. sorry to anyone who was excited for me to play it
