A glorious time-capsule of a movie is Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, when they are halfway out the building and they remark that they forgot their cell phones, but they can't go back now, they've "gone too far". I wonder if a zoomer has uploaded a Youtube commentary on how unbelievable that scene is.
Streaming video has been around for about twenty years, and some of the content — and the personalities that made them — have stood up better than others.
Ah, my first thought that was more a statement on the person who made the videos passing away... what you said didn't come to mind (though it's not like that hasn't happened to several people I used to watch. Both of these actually.)
