I'm glad there's precedent for reporting people for saying bigoted shit off-site. Excited to see how long it takes to get a response!

received this in response to reporting some loser pulling out AGP against trans women they don't like:
We aren't able to moderate third party websites or use screenshots as evidence of violations of our terms of service/community guidelines.
Nonetheless, we'll keep an eye on the user. While it is reasonable to complain or even take jabs at the largely white internet-based transgender monoculture, it seems the user has a habit of taking things very far.
i understand, to an extent, the need to tread carefully around the subject, especially given recent events around here and the fact that they're largely context-less screenshots of exchanges on another website, so i'm not mad about this, but i do hope they're serious when they say they're going to keep an eye on this user.
i used tumblr for years back in the day. i do not want to deal with people obfuscating their open bigotry against a marginalized group via progressive language. it sucked on tumblr, it sucked on twitter, and if it becomes at all common on here, i'm out.

for context, this is the screenshot i sent, though there are plenty more i could have sent along with it. not my screenshots, but given what i can piece together of the surrounding context (including the user in question's own admission to saying this sort of thing or, as they put it, "mistakes") i have no reason to think they were edited. i half wish they didn't get banned so i could see the original context, but i also don't really need it cause there's not really a context where appending "white" in front of any of this makes it ok to say lol.
for now i want to be done thinking about this. i saw a shitty post by a shitty person on my dash and i hope next time they do something shitty they face consequences on here
