building the lego set you got me
on the coffee table in my living room
when you asked me if my house was haunted

i scoffed and said i’d never seen a ghost
in the 23 year-old
cookie-cutter suburban house
then you told me
you felt a lot of ghosts around you
and for a moment i felt them too
