nippon ichi software is releasing an actual new versus puzzle game called Yumeiro Yuramu (ゆめいろユラム) in the year twenty twenty three of the Common Era, and it actually looks kind of cool...! and it has cross-platform online (PS4/Switch) too!!
the demo drops at midnight, Aug 24 (JST) and will have online crossplay for a week. it will have offline modes as well which will still be available after the end of Aug. From the looks of things, I guess the online demo will only come to JP stores
(one cool rule that I didn't notice at first is that you can only send attacks immediately after creating a new yaku, so you need to think carefully about whether you want to make your attack now, or risk getting sniped before you can build your attack power even higher)
if this looks interesting to you, I'd recommend getting the demo asap—the online functionality of this demo is getting turned off in a week, and it's the kind of game that might take you a minute to grok
