every now and again I post about something precisely attuned to the people on this site and it reminds me that yeah, there really are a ton of people here now, huh
a lot of the alternatives are so desperate to project a sense of Activity, whereas this place is quietly huge but feels tiny, and idk why anyone would want anything else
i do often find myself thinking "i just saw that post, I'll just scroll back to it" and find out it's like, 27 pages away. though im also possibly following too many people. but it does corroborate your point of this place feeling small while actually being really active
this site has reinvented from whole-cloth the thrill of the 4-like banger, i love it
