Oh man. The Gregory Horror Show and Midnight Horror School mobile games are coming to Switch and Steam. I've got to play these. The PS2 Gregory Horror Show game was an absolutely wild survival horror game; these ones look like they're surreal adventure games. Never been rereleased before.

For those who missed it, these reissues were precipitated by a crowdfunding campaign for a brand-new Gregory Horror Show PC game, due out in June of next year—they haven't yet shared footage but it's an action-RPG being made by an unremarkable mobile dev that sounds like it'll be leaning more on the casual side, and they aren't (or at least weren't) planning on an English release:

This was one of the most-requested games in the last request batch they did; I'm really glad they made it happen. It's one of the ones I requested, too.

I didn't know about it either until G-Mode did their last game request survey, and a ton of people were tweeting at them begging them to port this. I wasn't sure they'd actually do it!!

Gregory Horror Show was also one of the most-demanded games I saw in G-Mode's last round of game requests on twitter.

yeah, people seem to find a new game to latch onto every time they put out the call, and to their credit, they're usually pretty good about going after the most-requested games, too

I'm glad they're finding success with IP-related reissues but I have to admit, it's been a while since they put out anything I've been really into... so many detective ADVs...
