This collection's been out in Japan for a year or so and while I've not yet seen any indication that Success is definitely going to patch in the EN loc, they have a history of doing that with their other games, so don't commit yourself to paying the ransom to this dirtbag

Wait, did they commission a new loc for 3? Because when they’ve patched in localizations it hasn’t been the one Nicalis did for them.
new loc for 3 & revised locs for the other games... so yeah, I do worry that Nicalis is going to claim ownership over their translations and not allow them to patch them into the JP version, but I'm not gonna jump out the window until I know for sure
