STG dorks might want to pay particular attention to this one:
This game's being developed by an assembly of industry veterans, most hailing from Compile—of particular note is the main programmer, Takayuki "Jemini" Hirono, who established the foundation of Compile's STG style with games like Zanac, Aleste, Blazing Lazers and many others, and who's returning to the Famicom for the first time since Gun-Nac some 33 years ago. (Their last big STG work in general was 2001's Zanac x Zanac, IIRC.)
trailer here, which may or may not be private by the time I hit post:

Cat Hui Trading is the independent venture of Takayuki Komabayashi, formerly of Akiba's vintage game store BEEP and the port studio M2; they might be best known for directing the original Genesis/Mega Drive Mini and Game Gear Micro, and in recent years they've helped out on Capcom legacy reissues including the Capcom Arcade Stadium series. Dude also has a fixation with the old Alpha Denshi arcade game Equites, and you might spot a few parallels between that game and this one—the name's an anagram, for one.
