Is Antstream really that bad? I'd love to give it a try, but as far as I can tell they don't offer a free trial, at least not on Xbox.
there was a free try on pc when i played it, idk if it's still the case, but yes it's that bad.
The waste of bandwith is just insulting, my old connection that was i admit very low could only show crusted pixels on a psikyo game i could have downloaded in seconds instead.
If you don't want to pirate just buy arcade archive of the games you're interested into while waiting for the few exclusive to be rereleased, the thousand of games catalog isn't worth it.
The "potato-streamed" part is no joke - I tried muchi muchi pork on pc once when it was free, and it had slowdown and the image quality severely deteriorated when things got busy on screen. I imagine each streaming session is only allocated limited CPU resources (because most of the other games can be run on a potato) and the server side struggled with more demanding games. No idea if it got fixed or even noted later down the line because I only tried it once
