There are four fundamental physical forces:
- Strong nuclear force (you cannot feel this one)
- Weak nuclear force (you cannot feel this one)
- Gravitational force
- Electromagnetic force
Gravity tends to be pretty intuitive for us (pulling towards Earth's core) If you're ever doing something and aren't sure how it works, chances are you're dealing with electromagnetism.
Walking on the ground? Static friction of the ground vs your foot, which is ultimately electromagnetic force that keeps your foot from going through solid objects.
Cranking a gear or pulling a pulley? Electromagnetic forces keep those simple machines from phasing through each other, and the rest is just more electromagnetic force keeping the materials like rope or gear teeth together
Swimming in the water? Lighting a fire? Digging the earth? Blowing air around?
