lugub (/luge-tube:/) (1) n. a channel of fluid that has excess room for particulates, an ergonomic drain. (2) n. sl. of a person: a heavy drinker.
lugubrious: (1) v. having the quality of draining efficiently. (2) av. being easily drained away.

ps: i don't actually remember my verbs from my adverbs or how dictionary entries are really organised, just needed to write this before looking it up!
