What if they made a Memento reboot as a weekly prestige drama TV show but each episode was out of order? You could have the mystery of solving what's going on in the show transcend the television medium, and have people try to work out their theories each week. There would still be common touch points in the TV show, so you would have some level of dramatic irony at play. Maybe it could be called something completely different from the original movie, too? Maybe something like Westworld?
