Been thinking a lot about The Caligula Effect 2 today so I popped over to my old Twitter and grabbed some of my favorite single screenshots to move to here. If like me you have that gaping hole in your heart that longs for a Persona game but good, I cannot recommend CE2 enough. Great characters, a fun and fiddly combat system, some stellar music and really charming B-game constraints to it all.
It's the only JRPG with a canonically trans character who talks about his gender in a way reminiscent of how actual trans people think and feel, and a scene where one party member calls the other a simp (it works in context).
