Yes that minigame in Yume Nikki (that you played for like, 3 minutes before moving on) has been ported to the Dreamcast VMU.
Granted, it's not a perfect 1:1 recreation of the original BUT:
- It's tiny and portable
- It's on a VMU (HOW)
- It's cool to see and play
- You can even download it in your Dreamcast's own web browser!
But seriously, there's something so interesting about creating new games and software for old pieces of hardware through homebrew. I can't imagine it's an easy task.
