It's been a very hectic week, but I've been settling into a pattern of being able to at least dedicate most of my Sundays to video work.
Today I was focusing on gathering up some more b-roll. Some of the games I've been trying to get footage for are so obscure that there isn't even much on YouTube, which can be fun when a game is tough to emulate. One of the games that gave me a lot of trouble was Valiant, the very early PC-9801 game from System Sacom that I really wanted to include in the System Sacom history segment of the Mansion of Hidden Souls review. It took a lot of experimentation, since it's an extremely finicky and CPU-timing dependent game, but I finally landed on the settings to get it (and some of the other early System Sacom/Mark Flint games like Highway Star) working.
I got more than that done, and things are still coming along. I didn't get as much done on the script-writing side as I wanted, though, just some revisions to the Mansion of Hidden Souls script.
