I finally, finally finished recording the King's Field narration. The whole thing is about 50 minutes in total, and today's recording is about 20 minutes of that. I'll probably end up doing a few retakes, but voiceover recording is finally complete for PlayStation Experiment 2.
After slowing down a bit, I'm finally getting ready to bring everything together and finish the episode. Other than my work at my day job, this is the last big project I'm working on that I started pre-transition. I feel compelled to finish it to close out my pre-transition life.
Recording the voiceover in particular has been challenging because I'm starting to feel more vocal dysphoria. I can deal with listening to my voice while editing and watching the videos, but recording doesn't feel great (and never has). I think I might need to start voice training before going back to videos.
Regardless, once this video is done and released, I'm going to be focusing more on transition stuff in general for a while. I'll also keep working on other things, but it'll probably be mostly writing or working on the bots and other code-heavy projects. I still have a bunch of video ideas percolating though, including research on the next set of PlayStation releases.
