Next Thursday, I'm testifying to the Copyright Office in support of a new copyright exemption for game preservation.
If approved, the exemption would allow libraries/archives to remotely share out-of-print games with researchers. Game industry lobbyists would say that this would imperil the game industry. But we got two big players in classic games (Antstream Arcade and Limited Run) on the record that they SUPPORT the exemption!
