You might not know him but there's a good chance you've played a game that he composed music for.
I did some localization work for Ian a long time ago. Admittedly not my best work, crap happened in my end and I was never able to finish the work I had offered to do. In the end I drifted away while I was dealing with my own bullshit, unaware of what was going on with him.
In short, right before the pandemic hit, he started losing more and more energy until he was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, which has left him unable to do much of anything for the past few years. I don't know if the sale royalties of his three games and his music make him much money, but... I think that bringing attention to his situation might help him a bit. Maybe make up for the work I didn't complete.

I bought his soundtracks during the last Bandcamp Friday. He sent me a message thanking me. I haven't stopped thinking about him since and I wish I could do more to help him. Maybe this will. I don't know.
