what's the Scariest color?

Besides historically containing shitloads of arsenic and being stultifyingly toxic, Scheele's Green possesses a character identical to every cartoonishly evil poison and venomous plant we've ever encountered. Its verdance verges across the real into unearthly.

This green is the color of death.

Though, huh, seems the association between green and poison in general is a lot older than the Victorian era, and the wide proliferation of arsenic-based green pigments

At least in German, "poison green" (giftgrün) referring to a specific shade of green occurs in the dictionary of the Brothers Grimm, citing a publication from 1588.

Scheele's Green was used as an insecticide in the 1930s

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these?
