i got a smidge fixated while fixing the tags on my FLAC rip of the armored core 20th anniversary box set (thank you kingdom hearts fansite) and thought it would be fun to chart the lineage of composers that have worked on the franchise over the years....
based entirely on who worked on what based on the box set credits, plus bonus AC6:
i enjoy that you can see how main & side games influenced each other, where someone working on an expansion title might move on to the next mainline... or working on the PSP games lead directly into contributing on AC4 and V
another fun insertion would be to add in the timeline of other from software games & the crossover between franchises. since legendary bloodborne & dark souls 3 composer Yuka Kitamura got her start at from software working on the (amazing) ost to AC Verdict Day... where as Shoi Miyazawa got his start composing some of the absolute best themes from Elden Ring & has continued on to join Kota Hoshino on AC6 writing some incredible stuff alongside the legend himself.
