what's up, gull and such here, recent "wait there's more than one of us" realizers. whoops!

still giant robot fans, still pmd: explorers enthusiasts. imagine we are wearing a big button that says "ask us about Void Stranger". you should play all the games we like right now. the media backlog continues to grow ever further, and finally fucking continuing Initial D slips further and further out of reach.....

absolutely the fastest playthrough i've done by far, Potemkin is STRONG. just an absolute fucking wall of a man. he can take damage, he can dish damage, and also he has the approximate speed of a wall too.

despite being my fastest normal mode run yet, i can tell why he's so bad in actual fighting against another player in this game: he cannot actually fucking do anything except Mega Fist, Pot Buster my now-beloved, Nitro Hook maybe, and Gigantic Piston if he's hurting. he got no range, he got no schmovement, he got very little in the way of reasonable attack speed. he's easily owned by not being in range

however... he's very funny. he's a very funny guy. i love it when he goes "Potemkin Buster!" and then he potemkin busts all over the opponent :). i hope he and the sarge successfully establish a peaceful and democratic nation, he deserves something.

in reply to @gull's post:

And then later games gave him some very silly movement options that have all the energy of the ol Flying Brick (affectionate).

God I wish I didn't have so much on my backlog so I could keep practicing Potemkin in Strive.

excited to dig into later games myself. for all the other reasons youd be excited to see how a sequel improves upon and expands a game but also to finally see Potemkin actually moving. he deserves to fly with the grace of a brick
